A website that brings in enquiries instead of just existing
You may already have visitors. The question is how many of them get in touch, and what happens to those enquiries afterwards. We work on both.
Most company websites are digital business cards: nice to look at, but nobody gets in touch. Visitors come, look, leave. What is missing is the path from interest to enquiry, and that path can be built.
Lead generation means nothing more than this: anonymous visitors become people with names who contact you. That does not take tricks or pop-up battles, but craft: the right message, visible ways to get in touch, a form without hurdles, pages for the questions your customers actually google, and a system that catches every enquiry.
We build websites with this goal from the start. Not as a marketing phrase, but measurably: you see which page brings in how many enquiries.
The four levers that really count
Our website check measures every site it tests against 28 points. We see four weaknesses again and again:
- Unclear message: visitors do not understand within five seconds what you offer and for whom. They leave before they scroll
- Hidden ways to get in touch: phone number tucked away in the legal notice, a form with ten required fields, no answers to the questions people have before getting in touch. Every hurdle costs enquiries
- No pages for search queries: people searching for your service only land on your site if there is a page for it. Search engine optimisation starts with content, not tricks
- No safety net: the enquiry comes in at 10 pm, the reply three days later. The fastest provider wins the race surprisingly often
The first three bring in the enquiry. The fourth decides whether it becomes a job.
From visitor to enquiry
This is what the path looks like on a website built for enquiries:
- Every important service has its own page that speaks the customer's language, not your technical terms
- Every page answers the most common objections (process, duration, region) before they are raised
- The next step is always visible: call, write or book an appointment directly
- Tools lower the barrier: a self-test or a free check gives visitors a reason to get in touch before they are ready to buy
This is not secret knowledge. It is work that pays off because it lasts, unlike adverts, which stop working as soon as you stop paying.
After the enquiry, the most important part begins
Whoever replies first wins the race much more often. That is why our work does not end at the form.
Every enquiry lands in a customer management system that records the case: where did the contact come from, what do they want, who is looking after it. If a prospect goes quiet, the system reminds you to follow up, automatically, before the lead goes cold.
This is how you get what we call a website that works for you: it does not just collect enquiries, it also makes sure none of them get left lying around.
What you can realistically expect
Lead generation is not a switch you flip. A new page takes weeks to months before Google has placed it, and not every industry works the same way. Anyone who promises you instant number one rankings is selling you something.
What we can promise: a website where every building block is geared towards enquiries, measurement without sugar-coating, and an approach we live ourselves. Our own business works on exactly this principle: every enquiry runs through this system, from the first visit to the job.
Whether your current site has what it takes is shown in two minutes by our free website check. Or write to us directly about what you need.
Frequently asked questions
How quickly does a new website bring in more enquiries?
The structure works immediately on visitors who are already there. New visitors from Google take weeks to months, depending on the competition. If you want it faster, combine the site with adverts. Then the landing page matters all the more.
How many visitors does it take to get one enquiry?
As a rough guide across industries: somewhere between one in twenty and one in a hundred visits turns into an enquiry, depending on the industry, the type of page and where the visitors come from. More important than the benchmark is your own trend: if the rate improves, the site is working. That is exactly what we measure, without cookies and without snooping.
Isn't a good contact form enough?
The form is the last metre. What matters is the path before it: whether visitors understand what you offer, whether their questions are answered and whether they trust you. A perfect form on an unclear page stays empty.
What about adverts, do I need them?
Not necessarily. Adverts bring fast but rented traffic; a website that is easy to find brings slow but lasting traffic. The combination is strongest, and both need the same foundation: pages that convince.
How do I know whether it is working?
Because we measure it: views per page, where visitors come from and the enquiries that resulted. A page with lots of visitors and zero enquiries is a finding, not a success, and those are exactly the findings we work through.
